Thanks for that info. Good to know.
It only took him a few minutes to machine the plug.
It was more a case of looking in the steel rack for scraps and that was suitable.
He's been doing it for a bit.

It's a nice job and as good as custom new. No problemo.

Hey Marc, up here in Canada I have found National Trailer parts to be very reasonable. I just had an axle made to match one I already had for a tandem flat deck I built. 3500# 68"spring centers 84"hub face with EZ lube hubs for $236.00 picked it up at the local dealer.

That sounds reasonable.
I did pick up some of their mounting hardware from a local dealer. It was cheaper than princess auto.
I didn't know they were in Canada. Always good for us when there's a local source for the big stuff.

Now that I know of a couple of places up here I would order from them instead of altering one if I had the time.
