i have a 87 bear pontoon trailer with adjustable bunks and it has a problem, when i redid my bunks a few years ago the old one had a tear in the carpet, and the first launch with the new new it tore again in the exact same spot, ok thought the log has some thing that's catching the carpet, while out at the lake i ran my hand all over the area and its smooth, also while on the trailer it dosnt sit flush on the bow stops its about 1/2 off of one and touching the other and that makes me think its not square on the trailer and whats putting extra pressure on the one spot and tears the carpet.

ok at the moment i have he trailer torn apart to paint and it wont get any better to measure things, my plan is to use a center line and measure them, any other suggestions

i did some ruff measuring off of a center line and in the dark but looks like its 1 1/2 out of square at the front and that makes sense, i will snap a pic or two tomorrow

i will get better measurements tomorrow
