Converting roller to bunks, worth the trouble?

Here's what the back end of my roller trailer looks like, I put longer roller bars on it with a pair of 4 roller trucks on each side.

Don't convert.or you will have to get wet every time the wind blows,to load boat

If his trailer is properly setup then he should not have to get into the water. I used bunk trailers for many years and never set foot in the water except when I fell of the trailer tongue!! Proper trailer setup and side guides if needed will keep you out of the water. Roller trailers make launch and retrieve easier on the winching arm but centering the boat on a trailer is all in the setup of the trailer no matter whether bunk or roller.
