I have a Shoreline trailer about 1986 and I can't read the first 3 letters of the serial number that show the company ID. I need the whole serial number to get title as the person I bought it from never titled it. I live in Kansas and they require anything over 2000 pounds to have a tag. If someone has a Shoreline and just the first 3 letters or numbers that would be great. Thanks for any help.

Shorland'r will answer the phone and help you. I suspect that you can give them the last 6 numbers and they can find that VIN.

So, looks like the WMI is 1YR (World Manufacturer Identification)

Hope this helps ( and is correct.)
