Would this work for a V Bottom?

New to things here. Perhaps, I got the cart before the horse. I bought a 50's Herter's Hudson Bay 14' V Bottom and have been making due with a small utility trailer I had. I'd like to get a dedicated boat trailer but not sure if the one I am looking at would work or not. It was for a 16' flatbottom. Thank you in advance.

I'm no expert, but the time and money spent to convert that trailer into something you need, does not seem to make sense to me. I'd pass and look for something that will fit your needs.

It could be done, but the boat would sit way to high.V hull trailers are lower in the middle so they sit lower. Might as well modify that wheelchair to fit the boat.

I will bet the a boat that old will not be a v bottom it will be flat towards the transom so it should work fine with just bunks.

Can you post a picture of the front of the boat showing the bottom and a picture of the transom as well?
