I have a 2002 wave runner xlt800. The last time I took it out, I had to keep the choke pulled and pump the throttle on many occasions to keep it running. It would run and seemed fine as long as choke was pulled fully. A few days later, it wouldn't start. I pulled the new plugs and they don't appear to have any fuel on them? What do you think the problem might be?

My Guess the carb needs to be pulled and cleaned and rebuilt. If you added some cleaner like Sea-foam early on you MIGHT could have helped it. BUT at this point Im going to say you have to do the carb.

Definitely go through the carbs. Running that motor lean will quickly put a hole in a piston.

You should start with a compression test to insure both cylinders are OK.
