1996 Yamaha Wave Raider question

I just bought I think a 1996 wave raider, not sure it didnt have any paperwork. But I cant figure out what the bottom left hand switch is for? It's not the start or stop button on the top, where your pointing figer is there is a blue switch or button that you trigger to the left. Any one know what this is for?

That is for the Jet pump nozzle trim system.

When depressed, the handlebar grip rotates and via a cable, points the jet nozzle up - which raises the bow when running...or rotates down- which lowers the jet nozzle and lowers the bow running angle.
It can be left in a neutral position as preferred.
