1997 yamaha wverunner III 700 sluggish

Waverunner wouldn't start so I cleaned and rebuilt carb. Now starts but when accelerating it won't pick up and go. Engine seems to be turning rpms ok. Any thoughts on where to start to look for problems?

I don't understand what you mean by "engine seems to be turning rpms ok"?

Did you set the high and low adjuster to the same turns out as prior to rebuild? What did you set them to?

Did you use the complete kit and rebuild the pump side? Replace (or clean) the internal carb filter? Replace the inline fuel filter?
