Okay so I have an xi ss and it thinks it's overheating but it's not.. it will only rev to 3500 ish and then the limiter won't let it go farther.. I already snipped the wires to the temp sensor and that didn't help.. any suggestions? Thanks

You probably need new spark plug wires Kawasaki has a reputation of having very bad spark plug wire cores that corrode . Remove the end cap and inspect the core of the wires by snipping off some of the outer wire and pulling on the center core if it pulls out or of you can't find anything but powder, you can replace the wires in the coils if you know how to do it.
