97 wave venture 1100 no spark?

Got a Wave Venture 1100 200 hours on it all stock except impeller and grate.

Last weekend went to lake and it ran great, put on trailer and came home. Was a bad storm and I did not get a chance to cover it or even dry it out after the lake. This Weekend went to start it and it turns over gets fuel and no spark???

Opened cover and there was moisture in there nothing crazy just had some in hull that had sat all week. I usually open it up after ride and completely dry it out. That is about all different than normal.

What do I check 1st? is there a list go go through? Help, lost.

check the kill switch on the handlebars , see if it is wet inside and shorting out the ignition, just unplug it and see if you have spark with it disconnected I Had the same issue once.
