Partial start question

Just picked up two 1992 Waverunner 3's from a friend. 1st one was running with a little quick start and a new set of plugs. started and ran for 10 secs just fine in the garage for a couple weeks. Now it turns, starts to ignite for a couple rpm's then fouls plugs. I put a spark tester inline and after three our four blinks of the light the motor just turns no spark. I used to have a couple kawasaki 550's, but its been years and I am a little rusty on troubleshooting. Suggestions on where to start?

Ended up just being a sticky stop button, unplugged the connector and it started right up. cleaned the switch and contacts and well see what happens at the lake this weekend.

Started a new post tonight. replaced the switch and still no start. back to square 1. CDI?

Quick video on my issue with inline spark tester attached, you can see the spark in the light and then nothing. Any suggestions on where to go next? Already replaced start /stop switch.
