Seadoo Starter info needed..

I have a 1999 seadoo gtx...787 engine.....my question is what starter is acceptable in this model jetski ??? Took it to dealer and they want 700$ to replace starter.....where can i buy a starter for this model ?....parts # ? .....all new to me.......appreciate any help in this matter

Other then taking yours to a local rebuild shop I found several
Just googled seadoo 787 starter and came back with. and ebay has for them under $60

Even Green Hulk (seadoo dealer) shows it for $250

Will any starter listed for 787 motors fit , or are certain starters for 787 motor only going to fit a certain body model ,such as my gtx compared to gsx, xp etc.........

It should be able to use any 787 and I'm 95% sure, but to verify, go to the green hulk site and start looking thru all the styles and matching the part number. Another way is ask the question to the supplier you plan to buy from. This way if it doesn't fit you can return it.
