Hello would anyone possibly know why when i hit waves with my wave runner it bogs down. It runs great at full speed. I checked and tightened the key post. Don't really know what else to check. Thanks vertu much

Well when you say bogs down do you mean it dies?

If it stumbles when tossed around I have seen that there is a fuel line issue. Does it do this when the tank is full? Have the carbs been rebuild lately? This is where I would start. My 92 XP and 95 SP did all sort of strange things till I replaced the fuel lines and rebuild the carbs.

It doesn't die. I think this winter I'll rebuild the carbs. It was submerged for about eight hours. I got it running fine except for that. I didn't know if maybe there was water in the crank case that could cause that? I appreciate your help

It wasn't doing that at all before someone pulled my plug. It sits on a lift now lol. Fishermen don't love wave runners i guess
