What prop do I need for a early 80's mercury 4.5 hp

What prop do I need for a early 80's mercury 4.5 hp? Also how bad is a few dings in the edge of the prop blade?

Not an issue if having few dings on blades. What are you trying to accomplish. Need to push something heavy ? a 4.5 HP is only good for displacement non planing speeds unless having a very light boat and you being a feather weight champ.

Go to the parts for sale area at the top of this page. Get to the props and find your engine. Probably only 1 or 2 available for that engine. As sea rider said, little dings and chips are no big deal especially on that sized engine......but if you want it to look showroom new........
