1988 four winds

Hi all I recently bought a 1988 four winds 245 vista and was wondering if anyone could tell me what prop should be on this boat. It has the 460 7.4 ltr with king cobra out drive.

Four Winns is the correct name. Is the engine a 460 (Ford) or the 7.4 (GM) ?

Was there a prop on the boat initially? I would think that you would be in the ball park of a 21 inch pitch

It is the 460 ford. There is a prop but I can not make out any of the numbers. It had a nice chip in it and I am quite sure it is not the correct prop for the boat I know the guy I bought it off of and he has the what ever works attitude

Its gonna be hard to know without any numbers on the prop if you have a prop repair shop close by take it to them they can tell you what pitch it is and all . If not there is also a sight you can put in the weight and length and motor in and it will give you the recommended prop pitch I think it is solas props site .
