Since ski season is about done up North, I decided to test all my props and put some stats out. These are all with a light load of approx 2200 lbs total with a Force 125 (single exhaust). I'm into water sports so I'm propped for that. Obviously everyone's setup is different but this will give you an idea of how these props compare. I'm hoping it will help someone else. Please feel free to add to this thread with your prop findings.

The 15p Turning Point hustler is a progressive pitch prop with a ton of cupping and a lot of blade area and it runs like a 17p - notice how the speeds are dead on with my 17p Stainless. But the 15p hustler out accelerated the 17p stainless and is smoother overall but has noticeably more bow lift. The Turning point has a plastic ring that needs to be removed to fit the Chrysler style gear case. Also you need to remove the anode behind the prop.

These are listed in order of acceleration.

Here is a chart I made to simplify things - iboats carries the aluminum props. If you want SST you most likely have to look on ebay or craigslist for one.

I noticed that most Force engines will run good with a 17p prop - maybe 15 is needed for the serious slalom skier or heavy boat load. I left out the 21 pitch b/c I can't see too many boats being able to use that pitch. Prop your boat so you are running at 5000-5500 RPM at full throttle.

The later thru hub props will work with single exhaust no problem, you just can't do the reverse.

These props will also fit if you take the anode behind the prop off and remove the plastic ring from the prop: Michigan Vortex, Turning Point Hustler.

I haven't verified but I think the Michigan Apollo SST is the same way with the plastic ring.
