I have an aluminum Lund Tyee 16.5', boat is listed at 910 lbs with a '98 70hp yamaha.

What would the best prop pitch be for top end for my boat and recomended RPM?

Thanks

You'll get better answers if you tell us what pitch prop you're spinning now, top speed and max rpm at wot with your current set up. Also depends on your performance goals, top speed? holeshot? load carrying capability? etc...

The prop that allows the motor to operate within it's WOT rpm range. If it's a 2 stroke, that's most likely 4500-5500 rpm. If it's a 4 stroke, probably like 5000-6000 rpm.

If you don't know your rpm range, you can go to the Yamaha web site and find out. You can download owner manuals there if you don't have one.
