Evening ladies and gentleman!

I bring this to you guys as your are the coneseur's of boating, and I would love a little bit of help.

I bought this prop and I am trying to figure out the pitch

but as you can see the only markings are 1706 or b197

The diameter of the prop seems to be about 6 1/2 inches, and my guess its a 17 pitch

but as you can see, this Crazy Stainless steel prop is rusting (weird)

and the numbers dont make sense, or at least google has not been my friend

any help would be most appreciated

What is it off of? By the way, looks like you are measuring the radius, not the diameter.

you right, sorry Radius is 6.5 inches

its off a 16.5 chris craft with a OMC V4 3L (i think)

its supposed to be stainless steel, but obviously there are rust marks, so its purity is in question :)

Stainless comes in various grades and will attract a magnet. The finer the stainless the less attraction.
My guess pitch is 21 or 23 assuming a sound motor and boat.
