You are 100% correct. It's the 1.62 gear ratio. I was happy with those numbers and the boat drives great and gets on plane very quickly. I'm keeping the Vortex as the backup/cruising prop as well as the original 21 pitch, 3 blade that came with it. We really don't cruise that much, mostly ski then make a short run and hang out with other lake folks. But, I know I've got a couple of props that will do the trick for their specific purposes.
