Hey folks,

I picked up a used stainless prop for a steal and would like to run it on my 84 Mercruiser Alpha One 3.0.

Currently, I have an Aluminum 14x19 Torque Flow hub style prop.

The stainless prop is a Viper #174814 14.5x19.

My main question is: What is the proper thrust washer to run behind this "new" prop.

The one I currently have seems to be too small and the prop (although it spins freely) seems to run too deep in the drive.

Thanks for any help!

That's basically what I'm needing to know, I have only found one type for it.
The prop was said to have come off of an Alpha with a 3.0, so it stands to reason that it's the same for my rig as well.
I think you have answered my question, but I'll do a little more checking just to certain. Thanks!

Ok, so apparently, this prop I bought is for an OMC drive, is there any way to make it work on my A1? Or, am I just out of luck?
