I have to change my prop since I bounced off the sand and cracked it.
I have this grease sitting in my shed.
Mobil/Synthetic grease (102481) | Lubricant/Grease | AutoZone.com

Mobil 1 Synthetic Grease.
Mobil 1 Synthetic Grease provides excellent protection against rust, corrosion and water washout. It s suited for wheel bearings, ball joint suspensions, steering linkages, and king pin and chassis lube points.
Excellent resistance to rust and corrosion
Good shock loading protection
Excellent resistance to water washout
Outstanding lubrication over a wide temperature range

Can I use that or should I get something that is says its propeller grease ?

Thanks
Mark

Re: Prop grease question

Are you going to smear it on all the blades :D or just on the shaft??? ;) It will be fine and a light coating is all that is needed. If you get too much on.......it will collect sand particles and become a solid mass!!

Re: Prop grease question

Thanks guys.
If I were to be honest I'd probably have gunked it on. So now I won't. THanks.

Re: Prop grease question

I usually just squirt a few pumps from the grease gun on to the shafts and smear around with my fingers when I am doing the other drive zircs. I also have the props off at least twice a year just to inspect
