1) Performance issue you are trying to correct.
None, really. Want good acceleration and high top speed if possible, but I am happy with current prop
2) Current prop manufacturer, model, aluminum or stainless as a minimum.
48 77348 A40 21P (I think it is a Mercury Aluminum, don't know anything else.
3) Current prop diameter and pitch (required).
I'm inferring that the prop pitch is 21 (21P) but am unsure of the size.
4) Wide open throttle RPM and speed with an average load (very helpful)
With 3 people it was punched down at 5000-5100 RPM
5) Engine/drive make, model, year, and HP
1996 Mercury 115 Outboard Serial# 0G386904 (may be OG)
6) Boat make model, year, length and weight
1996 Sea Ray 175 Bow Rider OutBoard 1850lb

My prop on the boat I just bought (first one) seems to have taken a really good beating. It had a few chips when I bought it last week but after some sand bars and a lack of a depth finder it is beginning to crack at those chips. I am happy with the current ride but if it could be quicker to get "on plane" that would be nice. I have read that I may need to get a Hub Kit but it looks like the prop already has the new style of prop with the washer and tangs. The original part from Mercury is no longer available so I am just curious which one I should be, and what other things might be required for installation. Thanks again :)

Re: New prop for Mercury 115HP on 1996 SeaRay 175

Ok, after some digging I think I might have it figured out. I need a:

Turning Point Propellers Inc 2143 2111 Hustler Propeller
and
Turning Point Propeller 501 Marine Master Torque Hub Kit

I am worried about the propeller hitting the trim tab since the blades might be raked out more. Does anyone have experience with this prop?

There are a number of tabs available with clearance for raked props there is even a button tab.
