Prop question for 9.9 Johnson Sail master

The current prop on my motor is stamped 9 1/2 x 10 and wonder if it would be ok to use a 9/14 x 10. I assume the 9 1/2 is the original prop.

9 1/4 X 10 is fine. The pitch is the key number.
What are you pushing?
What year is the motor?

16' SeaArk Duckhawk.........the motor is a 1983........using it for a trolling motor and works well, but got a pretty good rock ding (long shaft motor (going to raise it up with mini jacker) so I think I will replace the prop and see if they can fix this one good enough for a spare. Thanks for the advice.
