i have a 1971 25hp evinrude sportster and I keep spinning the hub in my propellers it will not shear the shear pin in it but I am on my third spun hub on this motor and I am wondering do they make one of these props without the rubber hub in it just solid metal I would rather just shear a pin I can replace them a lot cheaper than a new prop everytime I go out in the water

Are you sure it's a spun hub? Did you check it with a indelible marker across the hub.
It's highly unlikely a hub would fail spontaneously or from a single strike.
Are you buying new props? It is possible to have a prop shop re hub it though I'm not sure it is cost effective.
I've seen pinning the hub suggested not sure of the exact procedure.I think it involves drilling a hole, threading it and threading in a bolt.
If your likely to be striking anything you best hope the pin shears.

Are you using new shear pin each time?
Does your prop spin freely in nuetral?
What are the operating conditions when prop spins out? Make sure when shifting, that your engine RPM's are not too high.
How many props have done this to you?
