Trying to identify this prop I got in a box of parts. It is a 2 blade, pin drive has no markings on it. Turns out it looks like a lot of props. Thought I had it identified as a 40-47 merc 6 Hp. It also looks like the a 7 1/2 Elgin, Firestone W. Bend prop. Would like to identify it and see it put back on someones project motor. (looks like Michigan G- 50 or K-15) Thanks in advance

Re: Elgin Westbend Firestone Prop 7 1/2 Hp

My first thought was for a late 1930s-40s Johnson KA/KD 9.8hp... Are there any numbers cast into the prop up inside the hub, under that grime?

Also looks alot like the prop on my early 40's 5hp Evinrude... without numbers impossible to tell but seems like it would fit about any old low hp project engine...

I fianally got around to cleaning this prop. Found some numbers on it. Part Num. 41C279 or 410279 Size 8 X 7 1/2. I searched again and still could not find what motor it fits.

Also an old thread, it's been inactive for years and the inactive OP was looking to sell.
