Volvo Prop part number

Hello, I'm looking to purchase a spare set of F5 Volvo Duo props. I have a question concerning the part number stamp on the props. The first letters are F5 followed by the part number, but what does the last two digits represent? I see several different F5 props, but the last two digits are different. Do the last two digits on both props need to match?

Volvo DuoProps have a front and rear prop as a set. Each prop has a different part#. There is also a part number for the set. Each set of numbers has the first 5 numbers the same and the last 2 are different.

F5's numbers are:
3851495 for a set
3851465 for the LH rotation prop which I believe is the larger front prop.
3851475 for the RH rotation prop which I believe is the smaller rear prop.

F5REAR 3851475 7G

The props part number I looking purchase as a spare are:

F5FRONT 3851465 BH
F5REAR 3851475 BJ

The questions I have, what does the last two digits represent such as 7G, BH or BG? The last two digits match on my current props, do the last digits need to match? The props I'm looking to buy were pulled from a kit box part number 3851495.

I think they need to match just like your current set up. There must be is a reason for this. What it is i don't know. I don't think you can mix them. (Ex) 7G, with a BH or BG
They should work. As long as they are the same material. I think some of those codes depict weather there stainless, aluminum or what ever.

When I said "they do not need to match" I meant the two characters after the full part# from the examples given of "7G" or "BG" or "BH", those are immaterial, pun intended.

The F series is all stainless steel. The equivalent aluminum D series. The "7G" and "BG" and "BH" have nothing to do with material or size or pitch. The F5 props you have your eye on is a matched set.
