Rookie boater here in need of some help. I have a 1993 17' Glastron SSV 175 with a Model 230 Volvo Penta sterndrive. Last fall, I lost a prop (Never checked it before I went out). Anyway, I never bothered to write down the size/type of the prop that I had and now that I need to order a new prop, I'm quite clueless.
I don't know if I need a left or right hand rotation, the pitch, the diameter, the engine's gear ratio or pretty much anything. All of the online guides I've checked are of no help as I can't even find a 1993 Volvo Penta 230 SP engine model. It's rated for approx 115 to 120 HP
Can anyone help or give me any advice please? I just want a standard prop, not looking for any special performance prop at this time.
