i have 10 1/4 X 15 13 spline. would like to get the bow down. when i go full speed the bow starts bouncing. any ideas. don't know if this prop was ment for this engine or boat. thanx
Tell us about the boat,load Do you have a speed and rpm?Have you tried trimming down?
Where is the antiventplate (just above the prop) in relation to the bottom of the boat?
the boat was a 16' sea trout boat inboard, took the keel and rudder off. turned into a flats boat. 6' beam. the prop is 1 1/2 " from hydrofoil. no trim tabs engine is all the way down. gets up on plane fast but bow bounces at speed 5000 rpm. i'll have to weigh boat ,maybe around 1000 lbs.View attachment 112175View attachment 112176
you replied to yamaha2003 50 hp prop. ended up doing another post instead of reply. their are pics of boat. someone at work told me to double cup my prop, any thoughts thanx g i do not have speed mph
