I have had this boat for nearly a year and all in all it runs good. Sometimes it planes ok, sometimes it doesnt. I feel like it has a lot to do with passengers needing to be up front and with this being my first boat and no experience to speak of, Im on a heck of a learning curve.

We had 5 adults and 1 child in the boat this past weekend and with everyone seated the boat wouldnt get going at all. It looks like it was digging a hole behind itself. Once I got two adults up front it evened out a bit and finally got some speed.

Do you guys think a set of nautilus trim tabs would help or do i just need to keep two adults up front in the open bow? Should I go back down to the slower prop?

Here is some general info.

Volvo aq120b / penta 270

I have two props, I think one is a 14" 15 degree and the other is a 14" 19 degree. running the 19 right now.

P/O installed a sting ray classic hydrofoil

Retaining pawl for outdrive is set to the positing closest to the stern, which is where it should be (according to the manual) when having the trouble I am having.
