I have a Suzuki DT50 that has a bad lower end, the pinion is a 11 tooth and the drive gears are 23 tooth (shot).

I have a gear set from a DT 60, the pinion is a 12 tooth and the drive gears are 24 tooth. I am planning to use this set in the DT50 case with the same prop.

Question: Will I notice the difference out of the hole ? I would like to be able to pull tubes/boards with this set up

Re: Suzuki DT50 <> DT60 gear swap ??

Since you are lowering the ratio (higher gear) hole shot will likely suffer. You may however have slightly higher top speed with a light load. But loaded the performance will likely suffer and result in lugging the engine and therefore more fuel use. A prop change may be required but it is worth a try. If the rpm at WOT with an average load is not at or very near the top of the recommended rpm band, then a prop change is required.
