I have a 1975 6504R evinrude 6hp motor and my propeller is gettin pretty wore down and beat up.

I cant find out what prop. I need for it for sure! And it has a 2 blade on it and I was wondering if they make a 3 blade for it? It seems to not push good enough like it should.

So if anyone knows what size propeller I need or could post a cheaper place to get one or a link where i can get one that would be great!!!!

Thanks

I have the same motor with the original prop...a 2-blade.
You can also get them here at i-boats...and they do offer a 3-blade in an 8" pitch as one of the choices.
I have no idea what the OEM prop specs are....and how you check the performance without hooking up a tach.
There is a "Prop questioon" forum inn here that might be able to help if you need more info and how that 3-blade might work out.

OMC/BRP has the following 3 blade:

0386587 8.25 X 5
0763588 8 X 7
0763586 8.25 X 9

2 Blade props that will work
MW 012005 8 X 7.25

Some of these are hard to find, but they are all available.
