Raker Prop 18 pitch

I have done some prop testing with 2 props recently

aluminum 13.5 19 pitch 5200 rpm @ WOT

aluminum 13.5 17 pitch 5600 rpm @ WOT

i decided to buy a raker 18 pitch, i figure it will put me @ around 5500 rpm @ WOT. think this was the right purchase?

No way for anyone to tell unless you tell us what engine these props are being spun by.

and....what props are you running on this engine in question??
Blade design has a tremendous effect on what "may" be the right prop.
An 18P Raker is a specialty prop and I don't know of ANY aluminum prop that will act anything close to a Raker.
Alot depends on hull design as well...you may benefit from the Raker's bow-lifting ability or it could hurt your performance if you're not willing to maximize the set-up.
