1997 johnson 150 jack plate need help

im a newbie to this stuff if i install a manual jack plate ,will the tilt and trim on my motor still raise and lower my motor as if no jack plate was installed thanks

The exact same question is posted in another forum and was answered correctly. You even said "thanks" and "that was all I needed to know". <br /><br />I just figured this post was an echo. They should have used more insulation when the built this room.

The engine is bolted to the jack plate instead of the transom. Certainly your trim system will still work.

try manual for cmc 65 this is transom power lift read install on it its on there websight and can be download here <br /> http://www.cook-mfg.com/plfeatures.html <br />this is who makes cmc and is there websight down load the page on running it and setting it up manual side it in there

I just wanted to make sure it mounted right that was most of my problem this manual helped me If I was steeping on some one I am sorry
