1998 pro V 200 Yamaha

I recently purchased a bay boat with a 1998 Pro V200 Yamaha, the engine runs well but WOT is 5000rpm which seems low, is this correct or should I change prop, also being an older motor i typically run at 4500rpm is that going to hurt anything.

2 Strokes Yams usually runs 5000-5500 wot revs, 4 strokes usually 5500-6000, which is yours..? In any case if achieving 500 wot revs less will need to go for 2 less pitch size if the Rule of Thumb dials well.
