hey guys sorry for the delay, weather here has been terrible. Got the boat out twice with new digital tach but it jumps all over as rpm's increase. I have it set on 2 stroke 4cyl but since its an outboard with no distributor, do I need to set the tach to 2 stroke 1cyl to get good readings? its the type that wraps around the coil/plug wire and im thinking without a distributor the tach should only care a bout the one hole its reading. sound right to you guys, any experiences?
