Prop question

a newbie here and i have a question concerning a new prop I purchased. I am replacing an Olympic prop that has a tappered nylon sleeve that sits inside the prop on the shaft while a metal collar with notches slides over the spline - then there is a retaining washer that will seat over the collar as the nut finishes it - the new prop is a Michigan prop that has a one piece brass/bronze inside. Does that bronze/brass piece come out? Because I have no retaining option except to use the Olympic set up...any suggestions would greatly be appreciated - thanks

Ayuh,.... Welcome Aboard,.... Yer ole prop has the newer style hub, where yer new prop has an older style hub,...

The hardware is Not compatible,....

Ya need the proper hardware that matches the ole pressed in hub,...

Pretty sure there is a conversion kit that you can buy.
