So i am switching from a VP single prop to a VP Duo Prop.
Boat is a 1984 Bayliner Ciera Sunbridge 245
260HP 5.7 AQ280 15X19 Volvo Penta prop. WOT 4400RPM @ 40MPH(gps)

So has any one switched to a DP from a SP with this model boat?
Im told B3s might work if i have a healthy engine. I do, no problem there.
Hoping to find some one that has made the swap with the same model and can post what they ended up with.

with that boat your looking at B3's with the 271 you may be able to swing B4's. A cam change and swap to vortec heads and you could even swing B5's

I do have a brand new set of Vortec heads, Intake. Just dont know if putting them on would be worth the effort.

I installed vortec heads, a vortec intake and a comp camps XM262H cam and 1.52:1 roller rockers. it woke up my 271 a bit and got me an extra 4 mph. just couldnt crest 50mph, so I am now building a big block

A VP dealer should be able to recommend props for you based on your boat and what gear ratio is in the drive.
