Floor Question

I have a 20 ft pontoon. The floor on my pontoon by the entrance started to wear away. My plan was to scrape this away and paint with a bed liner type paint. The floor is splintering here, any issues with sanding and painting? Any other ideas on fixes?

If the flooring is generally sound, you might could bondo the holes, grind it flat and then put on an elastomeric coating of some kind. I personalluy like the new, thick vinyl flooring on pontoons.

If you need to replace the flooring, only use marine grade plywood--about $75 a 4x8 sheet. Regular plywood will simply not hold up in this use.
