1994 Sundancer 24 LE w/ Yamaha v4 115

Just bought this boat last week, is hard to start...when it's started and warm it revs good & smooth but when lever is down it won't idle and I can't put it in gear. I don't have a manual, where do you adjust the idle, is there just one or does each card have one?

Also leaking oil from top of reservoir inside the engine cover it's not cracked but appears to be over full...why?

Take it to a good wrench to see what your dealing with. Might be dirty carbs and a cracked block allowing water into the oil.

IF you aren't an experienced mechanic, you can do more harm than good trying to save a few bucks. Ditto the above post, you just spend a bunch of bucks on a 'new' boat, get it set up right the first time, then buy the motor manual if you plan on doing your own wrenching. Good Luck
