I want to switch out my current seat pedestal for an adjustable one possible a stand up one. I have a 26 foot pontoon and my captains seat is in a position so if anyone is sitting on my starboard side front I have to stand up to see over them which is Most of the time. Wondering if anyone has any recommendations Thanks all

Hmmm... you could try using the mechanism of a drafting chair that you mount to the boat--im just not sure if it would be rugged enough. 'm sure you can find a product out there that's suited for your needs.

You can get height adjustable pedestals...

Here

And Here

I asked the dealer about hanging the pedestal to a taller or ajustable one and was informed that the pontoon would have to be removed to change it.
I have access to a small fab shop in Pa. So when I go there in may I'm going to try to find alum pipe in the proper diameter to fit over the pedestal and a sleeve to accommodate the seat post to raise the seat approximately 8 inches.
If anyone knows of a source of a part like this please reply
