Looking at switching from a 4 blade 13 pitch to a 3 blade 15 pitch on my 26 foot toon with yami f115 on back. I'm looking to slightly increase speed and keep wot rpm with good range. Motor us rated for 5000-6000 wot and I'm working at 5800 now @27 mph. I've gotta a few opinions from the prop boards but figured some tooners may have some advice thxs

You're right within spec on RPMs and you're getting excellent speed for that rig. Won't hurt to try, but I can't imagine you'd see any improvement.

About the only improvment if any would be a better hole shot.

I have to agree that you probably won't see any inprovement. You may also find that you have less control when going in reverse with the 3 bladed prop. It sounds to me that you have it set up about perfect now.

Have to agree w/ the others, Nate. If you're talking SS props, that's a fairly expensive test. Good luck !!!

That's the right prop for that set-up. I have the same prop and motor as you but am getting closer to 32 mph, however, I have RPT toons.
