Is it difficult to replace furniture on a pontoon? Just bought a used 2000 landau and I would like to replace the forward fishing seats with seats along both sides. I am a newbie to tooning and this forum. J.

No, it's easy to do. It all really just bolts to the deck, but buying the stuff is expensive.

Re: Replacing furniture

Welcome to iboat and you are a fellow Hoosier.

As reddog said getting the furniture in place is easy but it is very expensive, next to the engine the furniture is the most expensive part of the boat so I would find and price what you want and go from there but the job itself is easy.

Re: Replacing furniture

Does replacing the furniture require access under the boat? I do not have a trailer -- the boat is stored when not in use on a boat lift. J.

Re: Replacing furniture

Replacing or putting seats in any pontoon boat is easy.

Remember: Just don't use power tools while you stand in the water--unless they're battery powered.

Re: Replacing furniture

No bottom access is needed. Just wood screwed to the flooring. Replaced all of mine last year and made a BIG difference in how the boat looks. Got a good deal at Veada.com and am happy with the new seating
