Mounting MinnKota Deckhand Anchor Winch

I just bought a Minnkota Deckhand DH40 and realized that I don't have enough room on my front or deck to mount this electric anchor. Can this be mounted under the deck? Any input and pictures would be appreciated.

I don't think it would work right upside down and it would constantly be getting hit with water which wouldn't do it any good either.

Apparently your rails go right up to the edge of the deck?

Can you post a pic of your boat so we can get a better idea of what we have to work with?
