tilt and trim on a toon

just how important is TNT on a toon ? i bought my first toon, it is a 29 foot aloha with a sundeck on top and a 90 merc. the trim motor is out, and i was just wondering how much working trim would help this boat ?

Is the motor bad or is it just the small relay that powers the motor that's bad??? The relay is what always seem to go bad. They only cost about ten bucks at an auto parts store.
I'd fix it if I were you. It is nice to be able to trim your motor up in shallow water. Or if your getting ready to beach the boat

hi kitchen. the motor is definately bad. the man i bought it from said it was getting hydro oil into the motor, he said he pulled it off and cleaned the motor and it wokred one time. but i noticed yesterday that when he reinstalled it, i guess the didnt get it in place correctly and it broke off one of the mounting ears...
