This is my first pontoon, and I want to go a larger motor. It has a 60hp mercury. The boat is a 24ft. Aqua Patio 1993 year. I dont have the sticker, with recommendations . Can some one suggest one. I just need more speed for towing grandkids and adults. Thanks

I would think a 90 or a 115 would be a great improvement. Not knowing the capacities I'd be leary to go any bigger than that.

I am not sure about your exact regulations, but mine is a 24ft MonArk and I have the ability to put up to a 125hp. Mine came with a 60hp Mercury big foot, and I wanted more so I put a 90hp on it currently. I had a 115 Mariner(lower unit went out) on it and it was good, the 90 is great also pushes the boat easy and can pull small/mid size kids on tubes/ski also. Good luck.

Hi, We are also at allatoona landing on A dock #30. I am not real familiar with lake yet as we had our first year last year, so we are still exploring a little. Stop by. Jack
