Bottom paint is TOUGH

As some of you know I have picked up a 24 footer for free. It's a 92 Monark that I believe has the original bottom paint. It's been left in salt water all it's life and I don't think it's ever been redone ( bottom paint). It has bad chicken pox scars but none (so far) are deep enough to be an issue. I have been grinding the paint off with nylon abrasive discs. Takes about 4 hours to do an 8' section. Anyone know anything quicker or am I just destined to do the work? No stripper I have found will touch it. It will take the black top coat off but nothing under that. It is approximately 3/32" to get to bare aluminum.

Ha ... no doubt. It'll be worth it. Had plenty of other boats but this is first toon. Always been what I wanted.
