Mystery Cap Below Gas Filler Cap on Suncatcher

Trying to figure out what the small cap is for on my 2014 Suncatcher pontoon boat (Yamaha 115 4 stroke). It is about 1-1.25 inch in diameter, and is located a few inches beneath the gas filler cap. I tried to post a photo of it, but got error message that I was not authorized to add attachments???
Can anyone help me? It is not mentioned in the manuals. Thanks all,

Possibly a vent for the tank???

Welcome aboard.

Probably the vent fitting for the gas tank. Feel around the fitting for 1 or 2 screen covered holes.
