Fuel evaporates and engine leaking fuel

No mine is a newer model controller 2003 also mine is mounted on right side of console so controls are reversed from the one in the pic. My key is also seperate

You push the button in the center then put it in gear that raises the rpm for cold starts then pull it back down and then in gear again and it is in gear

Just to be certain, when you push the key to activate the enrichener you push it and hold it in, right? Little throttle advance, push and hold key, crank until engine starts then release key, correct?

Correct. Push button on side of controls push throttle up a little push key in as I turn it over until it cranks. After it's warmed up just have to turn key and it fires up then go.

How about today before I ordered a solenoid I checked the fuel from the pump. It came out in fact all the hoses worked my dad pushed the choke tube in and out real fast and it worked!!! I also cleaned the connectors on the wires and reconnected them but anyway it works no so. Thanks for the help
