Replace an inflatable floor with hard?

I had to patch my high pressure zodiac (FR310) floor several times (so far) this year. Its holding for now, but this is twice as many patch attempts as last year, and the seams are starting to leak as well. A new floor costs over $1K!

I am thinking about replacing the floor with wood or aluminum. Is this something that makes sense, or am I just delaying the inevitable need for a new dinghy?

You can get a new Saturn 330 for $950. A new floor for one is only about $250. Zodiac is way over rated in my opinion.

If a Zodiac air floor is sooooo overpriced gor for the Saturn and sell your actual sib on Craiglist and let the new owner worry.

I agree about Zodiac being overrated, and I think are overpriced as well. But I got it for a song and want to make it last as long as possible. No way I'm buying a new floor from Zodiac. Maybe I'll try some of that fix-a-flat type sealant for inflatable boats on the floor... http://www.inlandmarine.us/
