Performed well today.... I now agree with chopper bill.... Need the short pedestal.... Doesn't feel safe up over the tubes but this eliminated the need to spend $80 on the aluminum set up

I am thinking of doing something similar for my M4. How long from front to back do you think I should make it so it is stable? Just not convinced I need to do a whole floor so looking at alternatives for seating.

Hey so i'm wondering why the pvc pipes seems like the weight is concentrated on those small areas only along the pipes. Also do you have a cleat or something on the bottom to keep it from shifting forward or back and coming off the pipes?

Thanks

Just info. I have the Saturn aluminum seat base. I also have the Wise seat that 99 shows. The seat sits very close to the tube and after you run awhile the base shifts and you can't swivel the seat as it is to close to the tube. I purchased a different Wise seat that has the same cushion area but doesn't have the plastic base sticking out. Leaves a lot more room for the seat to swivel. With the other set up I had to air down the tubes and shift it over. Haven't tried the new seat but sure I won't have that problem.
